Stained Glass ornament cookies... you can view recipe here... my sweet husband made me some jumbo cutters out of scrap metal, but they can be found on line too! |
This is my third year with them, but I still love the way they look with the light shining through....
I love displaying Christmas cards, and pictures from Christmas past...
I use flower frogs in a variety of shapes and sizes to hold them... Even on top of candle holders for added height...
|
Clusters of buttons sprayed with glitter, add some sparkle and whimsy to my Christmas tree... I did not make them, but I've been thinking of recreating them... |
All it takes is twisting some wire through the button holes, and clustering a group of them together... then I'd spray glue the buttons and shake on some glitter...
This guy always makes me smile... adding buttons onto a simple ornament, gives it so much more character... |
I started collecting these vintage paper houses a couple of years ago... this year I found some trees to go with them... Simply displayed on a grouping of cake plates, with some snow... |
The year after my Nana died, an Aunt made these Christmas trees out of her costume jewelry... It is a felt covered piece of foam, with the jewelry glued in place... |
